NFL Week 7 Betting Previews, Picks & Predictions
It has been a terrific start to the 2023-24 NFL season through the first six weeks, but the best set of games might be coming in Week 7. There are some loaded games set to take place in primetime, but there are other great games taking place on Sunday.
Here is a look at each of the Week 7 NFL games, and prediction on how each game is going to play out.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New Orleans Saints
The Jacksonville Jaguars head to New Orleans having won three straight games, and they are now on top of the AFC South Division. New Orleans has gone just 1-3 in their last four games, and they are a team that has struggled to score.
New Orleans is a slim 1.0 point favorite on Thursday Night Football, but the Jaguars are expected to get Trevor Lawrence back on the field for this game. Jacksonville is simply playing too well this season and they are going to come away with a win to kick off the weekend slate.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears look to turn their season around in Week 7, but they might have to do it without Justin Fields. Chicago has gone just 1-5 through the first six games, and they are three-point underdogs at home against the Raiders.
Las Vegas hasn’t really been impressive this season, but they have been able to rattle off three wins through six games. The Raiders are catching the Bears at a perfect time of the season and they are going to win this one and cover the spread.
Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Cleveland Browns are 2.5-point favorites on the road against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7. Indianapolis got some bad news this week as they will be without starting quarterback Anthony Richardson for the rest of the season.
Cleveland is not a team that has been able to do much on offense, but that defense has been dominant all season long. The Browns are going to have a big night on offense in this game for once as they will roll to a double-digit road win.
Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots
AFC East rivals meet in New England in Week 7 as the Patriots are set to host the Buffalo Bills for a big matchup. The Bills are big 8.5-point favorites over the Patriots on Sunday, and New England has been a nightmare on offense through six games.
Buffalo needs to keep winning games to keep pace with the Dolphins atop of the AFC East Division, and they aren’t going to mess around in this one. This game has the potential to get spread out right away as the Bills blow out the Patriots.
Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants
The Washington Commanders and New York Giants will resume their rivalry in Week 7, and the visitors are slim 2.5-point favorites in this game. New York is hoping to get quarterback Daniel Jones back on the field, and that should at least help them score some points.
Washington has gotten some solid play from quarterback Sam Howell this season, and they have a defense that can dominate. This won’t be a big win by the Commanders, but Washington will find a way to win and cover the spread.
Detroit Lions vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Detroit Lions are for real this season as they are heading into Week 7 with a 5-1 record through six games. The Baltimore Ravens will be ready for the Lions in this game as they are three-point favorites on Sunday.
Baltimore is going to have to find a way to score some points in this game, but they still can’t keep up with Detroit. This is going to be another great performance by the Lions as they pull off the slight upset to move to 6-1.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
NFC South teams will meet in Week 6 as the 3-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the 3-3 Atlanta Falcons. This division is wide open at this time, and the winner of this game is going to be in a great position.
Atlanta still needs more from quarterback Desmond Ridder, and that could end up being a problem in this matchup. That Tampa Bay defense is going to shut down the Falcons in this one as they win and cover the 2.5-point spread.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Rams
The 3-2 Pittsburgh Steelers and 3-3 Los Angeles Rams are two teams that still have to prove they belong. Pittsburgh wants to win games on defense, while Los Angeles has been explosive on offense this season.
Los Angeles is a slim three-point betting favorite at home in this game, but this should be a game in which you want to focus on the moneyline. Pittsburgh will battle until the end, but the Rams are going to come away with a win.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are looking to move to 4-2 on the year, and they are big favorites over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Arizona has gone just 1-5 through six weeks, and they look like a team that is wanting to take.
Seattle is still far from a finished product, but they are going to be more than good enough in this game. Take the eight points and back the Cardinals in this game, but Seattle is going to win this one.
Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos
If you are looking for a matchup between two struggling teams then you are going to want to check out the Green Bay Packers visiting the Denver Broncos. One of these teams is going to get a big win in this game, and the Packers are slim one-point favorites.
For as bad as Russell Wilson and the Broncos have been this season, they should find some success in this game. Green Bay just doesn’t have much at the quarterback position, and that will allow the Broncos to win in this game.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to move to 6-1 on the year as they host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7. It’s a short turnaround for Los Angeles as they were just beaten on MNF in Week 6 by the Dallas Cowboys.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs just continue to find ways to win games, and that offense is going to have a big game in this one. Take the Chiefs -5.5 as they are going to get past the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7.
Miami Dolphins vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The best game of the weekend will take place on Sunday Night as the 5-1 Miami Dolphins visit the 5-1 Philadelphia Eagles. Miami has been on a historic offensive run through six games, but they are going to face a raucous crowd in this matchup.
There is a reason that the Eagles are 2.5-point favorites in this game, and this game is going to end up being decided by a field goal. Miami is a tough team to stop this season, but the Eagles will find a way to get it done and cover the spread in this matchup.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Minnesota Vikings
The final game of Week 7 will feature the 5-1 San Francisco 49ers visiting the 2-4 Minnesota Vikings. San Francisco looked unbeatable through five weeks of the season, but they struggled in a Week 6 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Minnesota has had a miserable season up to this point, and they are now playing without star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The Vikings just aren’t going to be able to be competitive in this game as the 49ers will win and cover the seven point spread.
