Week 6 Betting Previews, Picks & Predictions

We are getting ready to head into Week 6 of the NFL season and there is another loaded slate of games on tap. The action once again kicks off on Thursday night, and games are set to continue throughout the weekend.

Here is a look at each of the NFL games set to take place in Week 6, with a betting pick provided for each of the matchups

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Thursday Night Football will feature the 1-4 Denver Broncos visiting the 4-1 Kansas City Chiefs. These two teams are a great rival in the NFC West Division, but this game will not have the feel of a classic rivalry game.

Denver has been a mess on both sides of the ball this season, and they just won’t be able to stop the explosive Chiefs. Bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to win this game and to cover the 10.5-point spread.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans

The NFL returns to London again this weekend as it will be the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans squaring off in Week 6. Baltimore is a four-point favorite in this game, but the Ravens have to figure out that offense.

Tennessee has their own issues on offense to worry about, and running back Derrick Henry hasn’t been racking up the yards. Take the four points and back the Titans in this game as it’s hard to know what to expect.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

NFC North rivals are set to square off in Chicago as the 1-4 Bears host the 1-4 Minnesota Vikings. Both teams have had some major issues this season, but at least the Bears come into this game with momentum.

Minnesota will be without wide receiver Justin Jefferson in this game, and that’s going to create some major problems on offense. Take the upset in this one as the Bears pick up their second win in a row.

Washington Commanders vs. Atlanta Falcons

The 3-2 Atlanta Falcons have been a pleasant surprise this season, and they look to keep it rolling when they host the 2-3 Washington Commanders. Atlanta has been getting the job done on the ground this season, but the defense has been tremendous as well.

Washington struggled mightily in their most recent game against the Chicago Bears, and that trend will continue in this game. Taking the Atlanta Falcons moneyline is the way to go in this matchup as it will be a tight one.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The 3-1 Seattle Seahawks visit the 2-3 Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and the home team is actually favored in this game. Seattle has shown the ability to hit on big plays all season long, but it will be their defense that has to shine in this game.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals took some time to figure out the offense this season, but they have been elite for a few games now. Cincinnati is going to take care of business at home and win to cover the spread.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

AFC South rivals are set to meet up in Week 6 when the Indianapolis Colts visit the Jacksonville Jaguars. First place in the division will be up for grabs as both teams have gone 3-2 through the first five weeks.

The Colts could be without starting quarterback Anthony Richardson, and that’s just going to limit their ability to score. Jacksonville comes into this game with a ton of momentum and they will win big to cover the four-point spread.

Carolina Panthers vs. Miami Dolphins

The 0-5 Carolina Panthers visit the 4-1 Miami Dolphins and this game could get our of hand in a hurry. Miami is a 13.5-point betting favorite and they are the best offensive team in league history through five games.

Carolina has really struggled behind rookie quarterback Bryce Young, and this is going to be the most embarrassing game yet. Take the Dolphins at -13.5 as this game is going to be the biggest blowout of the weekend.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Cleveland Browns

The 5-0 San Francisco 49ers look like the best team in the NFL this season, but they have a big test in Week 6. San Francisco will be in Cleveland to face a Browns team that is trying to stay on top of the AFC North.

Cleveland might be without their starting quarterback in this game, and they are already a team that struggles to score some point. San Francisco has been elite on offense this season, and that trend will continue as they cover the seven-point spread and win.

New Orleans Saints vs. Houston Texans

The 3-2 New Orleans Saints are set to visit the 2-3 Houston Texans and the visitors are slim 1.5-point favorites. It’s hard to really know what to make of each team as they have both been pretty inconsistent.

The difference in this game will be the veteran defense of New Orleans that is able to frustrate rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud. Houston will keep this game close, but the Saints win by a field goal at least.

New England Patriots vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots head to Las Vegas searching for answers as they have gone just 1-4 this season. The Raiders haven’t been a ton better at 2-3, but Las Vegas did just pick up a nice win over the Green Bay Packers

This will be a game in which neither team can find much offense, but it will be Las Vegas that is able to hit on a big play. Bet the Raiders moneyline as they don’t cover the three-point spread, but they do win this game.

Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

One of the best games of the weekend should take place in Tampa Bay as the 3-1 Buccaneers host the 4-1 Detroit Lions in Week 6. The Lions are coming into this game with a ton of hype, and that offensive attack has been really good this season.

Tampa Bay will be looking to counter with a terrific defense, and quarterback Baker Mayfield has played well this season. The Buccaneers are 3.5-point underdogs in this game, but taking them to win this game outright is the play.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams

NFC West rivals clash as the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals visit the 2-3 Los Angeles Rams. Many expected Arizona to tank hard this season, but they have actually been competitive in most of their games.

While that might be true, the Los Angeles Rams simply have to take care of business at home in Week 6 against a weaker team. That is exactly what will happen as the Rams will win this game by double-digits to cover the 10-point spread.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Jets

The explosive Philadelphia Phillies trave to New York to face the defensive-minded Jets on Sunday afternoon in a marquee game. Philadelphia just continues to light up the scoreboard, and they are running a nearly unstoppable play at the goal line.

This Jets team doesn’t have much of a passing attack at all, and that’s a serious problem in the NFL today. New York just won’t be able to score enough to keep this game close and taking the Eagles at -7.0 is the way to go.

New York Giants vs. Buffalo Bills

Sunday Night Football looks to be a mismatch as the Buffalo Bills are 14-point betting favorites over the New York Giants in this game. New York has been banged up all season long, and the defense is going to face a big test in this game.

Buffalo continues to prove that they can beat anyone, but they have also suffered two losses this season. You have to take the 14 points in this game as the Giants will at least keep this game competitive.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Week 6 of the NFL season will wrap up on Monday Night Football as the Dallas Cowboys visit the Los Angeles Chargers. Dallas is a 2.5-point betting favorite in this game despite suffering a bad loss to the San Francisco 49ers in their most recent game.

The Chargers continue to be an elite offensive team, and quarterback Justin Herbert is expected to play through an injury. This game is going to be tight throughout, but taking the Chargers to pull off the upset is the way to go in this game.
