The next step for North Carolina online sportsbooks started today. Accounts may be created at all eight mobile betting sites. This is only a registration period. Most start accepting wagers on March 11. That is just in time for the ACC Basketball Tournament, which will feature four North Carolina colleges. In-state betting on college teams is permitted.
North Carolina Online Sportsbooks
There will be eight NC online sportsbooks. Seven are licensed through the state lottery and partnered with sports teams or venues. One is partnered with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians through Harrah’s Cherokee and Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River. While Catawba Two Kings has IGT sports betting kiosks on its casino floor, it does not have a mobile betting partner.
