NFL Week 16 Betting Previews, Picks & Predictions

Get our NFL Week 16 Betting Previews, Picks & Predictions. Find out which teams will cover the point spread.

There are just three weeks remaining in the 2023-24 NFL season, and there is still a ton that needs to be decided in the playoff races. There are some huge matchups set to take place in Week 16, and that will lead to some great betting options as well.

Week 16 NFL games are going to be scattered throughout the weekend, giving you a chance to wager on four different days. Here is a look at each Week 16 matchup and the top wagers for each game.

New Orleans Saints vs. Los Angeles Rams

Week 16 of the NFL season is going to begin on Thursday night as the Saints visit the Rams for a huge matchup in the NFC. Both of these teams are sitting at 7-7 on the year, and that is going to create an interesting battle in this matchup.

The Saints just haven’t been a good offensive team this season, and they are going to struggle to slow down the Los Angeles Rams. Look for this game to be won on the offensive side of the ball, and it will be the Rams that win this game and cover the four-point spread.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

There are two games taking place on Saturday, including a matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cincinnati is a slim two-point favorite on the road in this game, and they have rattled off three straight wins behind Jake Browning.

Pittsburgh has dropped three games in a row, and they just haven’t been able to find any solution at the quarterback position this season. The Steelers are going to continue to struggle to score points in this matchup, and going with the Bengals at -2.0 is the bet to make.

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The red-hot Buffalo Bills are set to visit the disappointing Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night for a game that should feature a ton of points. Los Angeles just gave up 63 points in a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, and this defense will struggle again in this game.

The Buffalo Bills are putting up a ton of points behind Josh Allen, and that trend is going to continue against a bad Chargers defense. Even though the spread is set at 12 points in this game, taking the Bills to win big is the right bet to make.

Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are sitting at 8-6 on the year heading into Week 16, and they continue to win games. Houston is hosting the 9-5 Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and that team is winning games behind Joe Flacco.

Injuries are starting to pile up a bit for the Houston Texans, and it’s hard to see them doing much scoring behind Flacco in this game. That Browns defense is simply too good, and they will find a way to pull off the upset on the road.

Washington Commanders vs. New York Jets

The New York Jets are now eliminated from playoff contention as they get set to host the 4-10 Washington Commanders. New York continues to struggle on offense this season, and the defense is getting tired of carrying the load.

Washington is a three-point underdog in this game, but they are a team with enough weapons to win a game. Look for the Commanders to come up with a win in this game as they upset the Jets to drop New York to 5-10.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans

The 7-7 Seattle Seahawks are in Tennessee this week to face a Titans team that is sitting at 5-9. Tennessee tried turning to rookie Will Levis at the quarterback position, but it hasn’t led to any more big wins this season.

Seattle is coming into this game with a ton of momentum after they just upset the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. This is a game that is going to be tight throughout, but the Seahawks win this one and cover the small spread.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons

The 8-6 Indianapolis Colts are slight underdogs on the road in Atlanta this weekend as they take on the 6-8 Falcons. Indianapolis has been coming up with some clutch plays to win games, while Atlanta can’t seem to find a quarterback.

The Falcons do have the ability to slow this game down to keep things close, but they aren’t getting enough from the quarterback position. Look for the Colts to come up with some big plays in this game as they win this game outright to move to 9-6.

Green Bay Packers vs. Carolina Panthers

Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings

NFC North rivals are set to meet up in Minnesota as the Vikings host the Detroit Lions for a huge game. Minnesota has been hit hard by injuries all season long, but they also have a defense that is capable of taking over a game.

Detroit just has been too inconsistent this season to really trust, and things are going to be hard for them on the road in this game. Take the three points and back the Vikings in this game, even though Detroit might be able to survive.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The 7-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to host the 8-6 Jacksonville Jaguars in what is shaping up to be an interesting game. Jacksonville is dealing with an injury to quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and they have now lost three straight games.

Tampa Bay has been on a roll on offense over the last three games as they have scored at least 21 points in each game. The Buccaneers are going to come up with another big performance in this game as they will win to cover the small spread.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Miami Dolphins

The biggest game of the weekend will happen on Sunday afternoon as the Dallas Cowboys are set to visit the Miami Dolphins. These are two of the better offensive teams in the NFL, but this game will actually be won with defense.

The Miami Dolphins are 1.5-point betting favorites in this game, but they just don’t have the defense to slow down the Dallas Cowboys in this matchup. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are going to have a big game on offense in this one as they will win and upset the Dolphins.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears look much better than a 5-9 team, but they tend to make some critical mistakes in games to keep them from winning. Chicago is a 4.5-point betting favorite over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16, and this should be an easy win for the home team.

The Bears have been dominant on the defensive side of the ball this season, and the Cardinals are not a good offensive team. Look for the defense of the Bears to score in this game as they will win it and cover the spread.

New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos

The Sunday Night Football Game will have the 3-11 New England Patriots visiting the 7-7 Denver Broncos. New England has been a mess all season long, but Bill Belichick has his defense playing some solid football.

Denver has been getting some solid play from Russell Wilson of late, and that Broncos offense will do just enough to break through. Take the 6.5-points and bet on the New England Patriots in this matchup, but Denver will get the win.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs

AFC West rivals square off in one of three games on Monday Night Football to wrap up the Week 16 action. Despite picking up a huge blowout win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16, this Raiders team has had a long season.

Kansas City needs to find a way to get back on track offensively, and this should be the game in which it happens. Bet on Patrick Mahomes and company to have a big game as the Chiefs win this one and also cover the 10-point spread.

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

NFC East rivals will battle it out in the second game on Monday as the Giants are set to visit the Eagles. This Philadelphia Eagles team is headed in the wrong direction, but playing at home on Christmas Day should help them figure things out.

New York has struggled on offense all season long, and they are running out of options at the quarterback position. Taking the 12 points and betting on the Giants is the right bet to make, but the Eagles are going to pick up this victory.

Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers

The final game in Week 16 could be a potential Super Bowl preview as the Baltimore Ravens are set to visit the San Francisco 49ers. This is a battle of two 11-3 teams, and both teams are in a great position to lock up the top overall seed in their respective conference.

Lamar Jackson has been great for the Ravens all season long, but this team is facing a 49ers team that is doing nearly everything right. San Francisco will get a big boost by playing this game at home to win and cover the 5.5-point spread.
